Astrophytum myriostigma nudum variegata

The Astrophytum myriostigma nudum variegata is a one-of-a-kind cactus that prefers to be kept in full sun. Belonging to the Cactaceae family, this classical cacti species has a slow growth rate and goes dormant in winters. A transverse section of the stem reveals a perfect star shaped form. Interestingly, Astrophytum myriostigma var. nudum f. variegatum has sectors, patches or stripes with distinct shades of yellow or orange.
